Freeze-Dried Pineapple Powder - Detail Product Specification

Home-Made Pineapple Ice Cream Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream, chilled
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup freeze-dried pineapple powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Optional: 1/4 cup crushed freeze-dried pineapple pieces, for added texture

Instructions:

  1. Whip the cream: In a large mixing bowl, use an electric mixer to whip the chilled heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form. Be careful not to over-whip the cream, as it can become grainy.

  2. Combine the sweetened condensed milk, pineapple powder, and vanilla extract: In a separate bowl, mix together the sweetened condensed milk, freeze-dried pineapple powder, and vanilla extract until well combined.

  3. Fold in the pineapple mixture: Gently fold the pineapple mixture into the whipped cream, being careful not to deflate the whipped cream. If desired, fold in the crushed freeze-dried pineapple pieces for added texture and flavor.

  4. Transfer to a container: Pour the ice cream mixture into a lidded, freezer-safe container, and smooth the top with a spatula.

  5. Freeze the ice cream: Cover the container with a lid or plastic wrap, and freeze the ice cream for at least 6 hours, or until firm.

  6. Serve: Remove the ice cream from the freezer about 10 minutes before serving to allow it to soften slightly. Scoop and enjoy your tropical pineapple powder ice cream!

Just OK

My batch tastes like over-ripen pineapple... only sweet, missing that pineapple tartness I love.

Will use up the remaining powder in smoothies along w other fresh fruit and veggies
