1/2 inch x 1/2 inch diced

Ingredients:

1 cup freeze-dried strawberries
1/4 cup sugar
1 egg white
Pinch of salt

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 200°F (93°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a food processor or blender, pulse the freeze-dried strawberries until they are broken down into small pieces or a fine powder.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the sugar, egg white, and pinch of salt until it becomes a thick, white mixture.
Add the freeze-dried strawberry pieces to the bowl and stir gently until the strawberry pieces are evenly coated.
Using a spoon, drop the coated strawberry pieces onto the prepared baking sheet in small, bite-sized portions, leaving some space in between each piece.
Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the strawberry pieces are dry and crispy to the touch.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely before serving

shipping and handling

The product so far is great. Great price and flavor. However, shipping is very expensive. Once the box showed up it was damaged, looked open and like it was thrown from a truck. For the price I would expect it to be packaged better.

Sugar should be in the title

These taste amazing, but unfortunately they have added sugar. It is easy to miss when purchasing them that sugar is added, as the added sugar is not mentioned in the description, and is only in the ingredients.

The product is called "freeze-dried strawberries - diced" which implies that the product is only strawberries in contrast to the "sliced for baking or snacks" product they sell. The product should be named to reflect that sugar has been added "freeze-dried strawberries - diced, sweetened."
