Ingredients For Raspberry in Baking – Freeze-Dried Raspberry Meringues Recipe

1 cup freeze-dried raspberries
1/4 cup sugar
1 egg white
Pinch of salt

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 200°F (93°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Pulse freeze-dried raspberries in a blender until they become fine powder or small granules.
Whisk together sugar, egg white, and salt until thick and white.
Fold in raspberry granules until evenly coated.
Drop spoonfuls onto the baking sheet with space between each.
Bake for 45–50 minutes until dry and crisp. Cool completely before serving.

I bought to use for inclusions for my sourdough. But my family just loves eating then as snacks.

We had used another brand before, but switched to VFD when they had supply issues. The other one we got was whole berries and we had to crush them up, I love that this is already in granules so it makes it easy to mix into our chocolate.
